More of a diary of what has been done but here is my trusty steed! Purchased the bike in Aug 2017 looking like this. This was approx. 9 months after doing my first track day and I had done 3 track days on my road bike prior to this A fairly standard bike, but mods at the time were -Race fairings -PCv with quickshifter -Vortex rearsets - Yoshi slip on I then added crash protection and lock wired the bike to enter my first race weekend in Feb 2018 with the bike in this spec After this I crashed the bike in April 2018, only minor with body work damage, 1 broken footpeg and a bent handle bar. Got back on track within the hour that day. Then spent the next month repairing and repainting the bike. Next round of upgrades was in November 2018 the bike got Ohlins front and rear, after I had outgrown the standard suspension Then second time on track with the new suspension after 5 laps the bike developed a death rattle, turned out to be a bent valve caused by the screw dropping into the throttle. From here I pulled the head off, replaced that valve and cleaned up the valve seat, thin head gasket, did all the valve clearances. I figured the bike would need tuning with the headgasket change so I also did a decat pipe and exup removal and ditched the PCv for a Woolich Racing setup with Racetools Bike now made 116hp, but run so much smoother and a huge improvement on the QS operation! Also made a wiring loom to turn 1 cylinder off and race a 450. Which is so much fun! Had the bike ready to race again in Feb 2019 Only future plans for the bike would be to swap in a low km motor or swap all my parts to a low km bike, but these wouldn't be for a while

Welcome aboard mate. Great write up.. That first round was EPIC. I really should do a write up on my first round as well.. What a great weekend that was. I have really enjoyed watching you improve as a rider whilst the rest of crazybollox, greenskeeper (matty) just sit around not doing ride days, or coaching days because our bikes dont fucking work.

So true that, I made massive gains on my Gixxer in a very short time and have ridden no where near as much since going 2 banger, but my mechanical skills and knowledge and understanding of maximising every last drop of power has magnified 100 fold got to have a busy summer even if it’s only track days to get some saddle time and get the times down

Its nearly 2 years to the day since your big oops mate, and you've barely been on track since! Hopefully you can get it sorted and it can be ridden as much as Jubbys RS250 was!

Overall I felt better last time out but still not happy with the front end, it tips in way to slow and i am fighting to stay on the line then.
