I would like to spend around $5000 - 8000 on a used bike. Hoping it will have some minor stuff done like signals and fender eliminator. I also have no interest in the FZ07. If I go FZ it would be another 8 or 1. If I got the one I would street fighter it.

Ducati Diavel - that's a kinda in betweener for a girl that cant ride two strokes I guess. A guy had one at the drags the other night. (I beat his time) was nasty watching him trying to launch and snaking down the strip. I asked why he didn't use launch control and he said he didn't like it? |

Just had the first proper conversation with the wife about getting another bike!
I think we'll have a larger Adv bike in the garage by early next year...Oh yeah!

Love the look of the cb1100, but it does seem they are under powered and overall lacking in a lot of areas. You could probably pick up a used vmax for less and modify it to suit your appearance preference. Your 5-8k should leave you with a good amount of options.

Here we go, but in all honesty I'm thinking about burning my savings for one of these! The looks, the engine cc, perfect commuter, I even love the headlight. Pop on a slip on and go. Best new little scooter motorcycle! BMW G 310 R. These little bikes are fantastic commuters. If I didn't already have one I'd definitely be jumping at one of these new models. The 310gs and the baby versys 300 both look awesome. |
