we have all seen it before I will update with what I have been doing last 4 weeks or so.
Installed new...
Electronic fuelling, air solenoid, power valve controller,
Bigger Jets (up x 2 sizes)
Re set the needle,
Replaced choke holder which snapped on lhs carb,
Replaced main out put shaft that front sprocket sits on,
Replaced 2nd gear dog as mine was slipping,
Replaced fork oil 15w (oem 10w)
Eliminated excessive amounts of front brake drag,
Re aligned front end,
Cleaned front brake callipers, pistons and lubricated with rubber grease,
Replaced exhaust gaskets and o rings in manifold,
Installed new aluminium clutch plates,
New heavier clutch springs,
gone GP (reverse) shift,
Replaced kick-start seal,
Replace main gearbox bearing,
Re set all my cabling to sync - oil pump cable, pv cables and throttle cable,
Trackday is this Saturday the 17th December its a whole new world!!!! The bike now lifts the wheel very easily which it didn't do before in first and second with a slight tug on the bars...hell I nearly cartwheeled it when crazybollox was watching. I really wish I had a camera or action camera to show you what this 2 stroke will be doing on Saturday - if it doesn't blow up that is as there is areal possibility. PLUG CHOP WILL BE ESSENTIAL ON SATURDAY NOTE TO SELF!!
