Ever wonder how explosive Nitros Oxide must be to make a combustion engine increase power as much as 40%?
Nitros Oxide is not flammable at all. Funny enough, it is not super oxygenated either.
What it does. Nitros Oxide acts as a super cooling system, where it is injected directly into the fuel delivey system where the cold air become denser by compacting the actual available air. As combustion occurs, heat is generated which "breaks" the compacted oxygen molecules, releasing huge amounts of air into the fuel system intake. In order for Nitros systems to work correctly, you must have your system tuned to increase fuel at the instant the Nitros is injected otherwise there is little performance gain, rather; a rapid "lean out" if there isnt enough fuel to balance the huge increase in air into the fuel mixture. A rapid lean out is the last thing you want to experience. Effectively your engine becomes a grenade. BOOOM! And yes, bits of engine will get tossed around, likely into tender flesh and bone.
Leave the Nitros to the club kids and street racing crowd. More money than sense.
