So today I decided the weather was far to good to be wasted in the office and needed to be utilised a whole lot better!
I organised for Mrs Camo to knockoff at lunch so we could have a few quality kid free hours and enjoy a peacful lunch.
So that left me with ample time to get a quick run around some trails close to home.
Having only moved into our place a little over 12 months ago, my local spot still holds a few hidden gems that if I look hard enough, supply ear to ear grins and take me through some spectacular trails.
Well after fueling up and hitting some single track, I decided to head down a track that leads me to a hill that has fucked with my mental health since I found it.... well today I tractored up it like we were old mates somehow to my total surprise!
Once atop, I realised there was a track that ran along the ridge and was linking another part of a loop I like to do... so after getting the ridge track down pat, a couple of pics and a drink, I decided to try and link up a few of the singles and make a fun loop of it.
After an hour or so and two and a bit laps, I was reasonably hot and took a breather on the ridge before heading back.
Was a good couple of hours and once home I decided to bath the big girl and have a beer before Mrs Camo got home.
Funny how sometimes a short run can be just the right amount of madness.
