So i have slowly progressed from fz8 to MT09 to aprilia rs 250 to my current nx4. This is a dedicated race bike straight out of HRC garage. It is a privateer spec 125cc single cylinder 2 stroke. I love two strokes and the square bore 54mm doesnt get better. Producing 44hp standard it is cc for cc one of if not the most powerful engine you can get. Nearly 360 hp per ton.
I have spent a hell of alot on this thing. Longer 5mm rod, zeeltronic, quickshifter, lipo battery set up, detonation counter, new cables all around, complete bottom end rebuild all new bearings and seals, carbon fibre reeds, dds lite ktec rear shock, ktec front fork pistons and internal upgrade, the list really goes on. In regards to spares i have 3 x cranks, 2 x barrels, 2 x sets off fairings, 1 x x spare reed boot and standard reeds, lots of jets, needles,
Anyway the video is how the little beastie performs. This was also with a munted piston as i siezed earlier in the day and forced it to start from my battery dtill.

Well i am currently in the garage now having a lager or two. rebuilding the nx4... its a on going project... round 3 is in august 16/17th so i am currently installing the new barrel after plating it, new piston and putting rear master cylinder and brake unit back (lent it to a mate so he could compete rd 2).
to do,
cut my own gaskets x 4, (may need spares at track, i have complete spare barrel and piston just on case)
transfer alloy 5mm spacer from one barrel to the other, (recently installed a 5mm longer rod)
install tops sensor on card and calibrate and get it talking to zealtronic, The 3d mp is essential as i am having a few seizures on track after he long main straight. instant nip after rolling off just on exhaust side. fuelling is good, timining is good, no signs of detonation. The pistons i have been well two that siezed are specific to this engine and are a kart piston (half price of proper vertex psistons). The pistons are not designed for a bridge in the barrels, (the kart engine is a TM engine and dont have a bridge). The bridge is the hottest part of my cylinder on roll off, upon roll off it just nips like a cunt and pisses me off. its only scratching the exhaust side and last time i freed it up with the drill and ran rest of the on a fucked piston and barrel and set a PB. I have ran 0.06mm and also 0.07mm piston to bore clearance. both the result have been the same. so the tps allows me to turn teh spark off for 3 revolutions at high revs if ten throttle is at 0% allowing for more fuel to cool the motor. so itll act a bit more like a gay 4 stroke tractor but i should see a big improvement in cooling.. It might be a bit rich rolling back on but itll clear pretty quick.
I can then run a 3d map so i will add a couple of degrees her and there in 0-33% and 33% - 66% tps in rpm areas below the band of 11k kick in. My bike runs between 11k and 14k rpm. check the video further up. That video was on the piston that got munted first session then ran all day... fuck if i know man its a cunt of a thing.

My mad me mechanical skills have struck again... So i am using a longer rod from another bike, it has a different id little end to standard and needs a bigger little end to work with same gudgeon pin... the piston for the bike is designed for the smaller little end bearing. I didnt really think about this when ordering the piston. So after a few beers and gins i thought what the fuck ill just file the cunt It worked and it has bout 0.08mm of clearance fuck it itll do. So i cut my gaskets and thats a prick with proper gasket material at 1mm. I need 2, one either side of the spacer. After fucking about for a while it was done. Lined it up i wanted a slightly bigger hole for water tract, i ripped the cunt. Right into piston, im taking no risks and drilling the holes slightly bigger and counter sinking them to catch oil to help cool the bridge
