But he is already batshit fucked in the head so it probably felt like a day to him. Time goes quick when you spend your days licking windows.  |

I reckon the worst part was trying to get the wrist going again once you come out of the sling. |

I had full separation on the rotator cuff plus another tear at the rear under shoulder blade and he shortened up my bicep tendon. Keyhole surgery? Reckon it was like a 21st key! Seven holes and they did it under a nerve block with me conscious. Been doing passive physio (arm is moved for me, not by me) since op so I have been keeping my wrist moving. Lost all my bicep muscle though.

Fuck being conscious for any surgery!!
Passive physio will make that recovery heaps better mate. Amazing how far they come, I was under for an hour and spent 6 weeks in a sling before any physio was attempted.
First four weeks were fucked and that was in '97 when I was still only 17! Fit as a fiddle and capable of healing fast... Take me 6 weeks to recover from a fucking hangover these days lol.
