I'm "that guy" on the little r3 that could. The one passing your liter bike on the outside and doing an iron butt the next day. I also occasionally enjoy commuting in sub freezing weather, hiking mountains in conditions that'd kill a polar bear and running for days on end for absolutely no reason.  |

Previous steed: You miss it in any way? Honestly... Sometimes yes, most of the time no. I put 30k on it and got my money's worth for sure. I miss the power occasionally, but just love flicking this r3 around and playing with the big bikes in corners. Definitely a bit of a chore to do long distances on, but more than enough power for commutes. If I could have a 3 or 4 bike garage, I'd have one for sure as it really is a great, under appreciated ride. Despite my affinity for the little bikes, my next bike will probably be another middleweight(ish). I've got my eyes set on a ktm 990 smt once my truck and student loans are paid off. Both should be done by the end of next year. I wanted one before the r3, but wasn't in a position to get one, and the iffy reliability was a huge factor. Now that my commute is ~5 miles instead of 35, taking the truck just isn't a big deal anymore. Hence, ktm appeal. |

Im the same... do miss the power occasionally but i do play on crazybollox bikes so get a fix. Like you live fucking with bigger bikes whilst sat on a little old 250cc haha |

i sat on the fz10 yesterday at the dealer. its probably the perfect height for you. for me its a tad bit too tall. still manageable but to feel 100% comfortable i would probably drop the rear like an inch. and thats cause im short and wide. 5'10" Saw one Wednesday while glove shopping and didn't even stop at it. Just does nothing for me. I can't get over that stupid ass headlight. I'd like to test ride one eventually, but I can't see myself owning one. |

i asked my dude at the dealer when he was gonna let me take one out and he said that he is keeping them floor models cause it was the only two he had. plus they would have to move like 30 bikes to get the fucker out. it is a tiny building packed with bike. shit i just remembered if umyaya wanted to make the trip. they got a 98 bandit 1200 at my local yamaha. i think they are trying to sell for 2900 which is bull shit. i would tell kamil to give me the real price right off the bat. but maybe he wants another bandit lol
