Look fantastic. That is a fantastic track bike. With all that extra ground clearance should allow you ample room to roast those tires from edge to edge. Get her out on the track and share some footage.... Woooooot. Dennis Will do mate, I have to do something with the seat next, it's standard fit and not flat enough to move around on easily ! do some squat u lazy bastard!!! |

If I could afford to play like that, your Gixxer is the route I would take. I love that bike and the way you have set it up. Enjoy! Did I ever say that the only Gixxer I rode was the very first year model that Suzuki built? Compared to the Interceptor I was riding at the time, it was a dream. Hard to believe that was 30 years ago. |

Thanks for the comments on the bike, it's still work in progress and probably always will be, going to shorten the gearing next as I never hit 6th, should make it quicker thought the rev range too. Won't have it done before next track day on the 18th though but before the March runs !!!  |

So on your next high side, you will pick up another 2 seconds? Go for it! He really only needs to drop 2/10's a second hereband therband he will make rhe goal. Mr. jubby will be incorporation a less orthodox turn in technique and a lot of visualization as prep to locate and fix the "problem" areas. Gonna make a racer of that boy yet. I'm all ears mate..... I'm going to drop the front a tad also - say about 5mm what you think mate. You have seen the videos of the track and the front washing away?? what you reckon mate? @dgray5150 |
