Yeah first time out and I don't have Jubby to chase so I might just learn to ride the fucker smooth and fast, that's if I do t get kicked off for the DB limit of 95 - must admit I think I will be either close to the limit or I will blow it off the dial haha |

OK, finally prepped, all coolants changed, Healtech quick shifter installed, GP gear change setup which will be interesting mid corner when i change down instead of up !!!! I get the slicks fit before the first session so - first time on the bike - first time on slicks - first time on GP gearing - WHAT COULD GO WRONG !!!!!!   free

The countdown came and went, left me smiling the whole day, i just couldnt get that stupid grin from my face. Arrived early - straight to the support wagon to have the slicks fit whilst i registered. so first time on the bike, first time on slicks, and first time with reverse gearing (GP setup) a lot to concentrate on so i went out last in the first session - just wanted to get head up to speed and feel the tyres as i wore some shine from them.below is before and after shots.   second session a bit faster but still not at full speed. Still feeling the both the bike and tyres which absolutely filled me with confidence, having the tyres warmers and hitting the track with warm tyres helps too. The feel was amazing, only two sessions and i know already this is going to be a good day. session three was much quicker but it was a sell out day and there were too many bikes out there to really achieve great lap times, held up in the corners and the bike felt like it was holding back a bit on the straight, definitely needs a tune and will get one pre December 17th. The after lunch session was similar to session three but by the last session a few riders were packing up and the numbers had really thinned out leaving room to push hard. I had the feel of the bike, the tyres were well worn in and there were a few quick riders out there to chase and eventually pass. I had Jubby time my last two laps and i acheived my personal best 1:13 which is not record breaking but an achievement as this is only my fourth track day and i came down from 1:24 - 1:23 in that first one. Gutted not being out there but will make my next one even sweeter.
Next time out ill have a new bits on bike.
New clutch springs, aluminium clutch platea x 6... AND a zeeltronic..... pcdi 20v....new shift fork x 2, new ourput shaft.
Clean chain, new brake fluid, new front pads, clean power valves, maybe a quick shift (homemade pressure switch $5).

Dropped the bike in at Motorcycles mad earlier today for tuning via the ECU and Dyno runs both with and without the power commander - get it back Friday, will let you know the outcome  |

Look fantastic. That is a fantastic track bike. With all that extra ground clearance should allow you ample room to roast those tires from edge to edge. Get her out on the track and share some footage.... Woooooot. Dennis Will do mate, I have to do something with the seat next, it's standard fit and not flat enough to move around on easily ! |
