Inline temp guage and cooler. Billet oil dipstick. Weisco 2 over piston. Second enroute. Some custom machining will ne in order to add some drilled oil retention deprwssions on the two hot sides. These RZ's when assembled correctly are pretty much bulet proof. Opted to upgrade clutch to an FZ600 plates/springs/washers. No slippage expected. If it cant handle it, ill add an 8th plate or convert to hydrolic with monster strong springs.

Very cool man! Don't let anyone else touch this project. I'm learning the hard way that no matter what shop you go to they always do you wrong and mess up your gear. Be safe and keep enjoying the ever loving shit out of this project, very fun to follow!

8 plate FZ600 clutch upgrade from stock 7 plate. No high RPM slippage for me. Some clutch basket machining may be needed. Worst case I buy a Hinson billet clutch (really trick).

Nifty billey alum exhaust spigots. Taking them to the engine guy to have these port matched. 2 weeks and I have all engine goodies with exception of hand built JL chambers. And a couple complimentary Fast from The Past T-Shirts.... I suppose I actually paid for them 3x over with all the goodies I have ordered from them.

Got my hands on a brazing kit. I will be able to braze my overzelous hammer whack on thw bottom of the tank then do an internal sealant. Will be brazing on the tank quick release tabs and vent barb. Some alum for creating the gauge cluster bracket.
I will also try my hand at brazing the 2T oil bung and cap.
Got my hands on some 1"dia split collars to fab up some frame slider mounts. Sliders are enroute.

Have a sub 700.00 bid on a complete RZ engine in the event I need to canabalize parts. If minimal scavanging, how does a built RZ engine in an R3 sound???

He will hopefully be back on here soon to update everyone.

Here are the cylinders back from blasting. Ted called me to see if I wanted to watch him rough in the porting.... wow! about a shotglass and a half of metal removed from each cyl. the transfer port orifice from factory is about thw diameter of cooked sphagetti. when completed, the transfer port will be about dime size on dia. result....massive crank case pressure = booom, torque and horsepower and then some. All the intakeports are being opened 30%, the ehaust port lowered 10 mm, ports opened 10 mm and the central bridge slimmed from 5 mm to knife edge = lots of fuel can suck through and atomize. the cyxlider sleeves are being relived to prevent piston skirt contact at high RPM. ehaust port opened and ultimately near mirror finish with bilett spigots marched to the exhaust opening. more powa! Chambers are in the car and will be dropp3d at a metal guy to clean and prep for clear coat temp powder coating. (acid washed and cleaned very well. I will bring my braze tourch and "recolor" each weld seam to show off the weld porn (and there are many many welds to admire) how do you upload a picture
