Jim Lomas (Eng) computer desiged for optimal performance. Each cone is hand cut, rolled and welded. the dark crap on the metal is protectant. that gets a muratic acid wash and some agressive green scotchbright. once clean, ill work woth the powder coater to get a transparent coating that shows off the weld porm. here is to keeping you in suspense until wednesday the 5th.
I have my engine in a crate, all parts present and are either new, high performance or factory originals.
We are going to match the case and cylinders and gasketsatch the cases...a pony or two
I was on my way to drop off the tub and see the final porting, polishing, reed cages, manifold and boot as well as exhaust spigot and gasket matching. 1 block away at 4:00 I call to see if anything is needed. He apologized profusely. He intended to call me... He Closed an hour early for the holiday.....fark!!
He did empatically tell me 3 times that when I see them there will be a boner!
till then I am going to get the tank in final body work.

some cleaning still to be done on expansion chambers... once cleaned up, each weld will be reheated and a clear high temp clear coat (weld porn GP pipes)  Can you say retardedly oversized brake rotors. These are intended to drag a 400lb machine down from speed. The RZ will come in at approx 225 lbs  thank you for taking this journey with me. we are soo close.......... |

A real live passion will start to flow in the crowd, some grog, a couple liquid courage 5th gear wheelies (with head lights mounted under the chassis) 145mph wheelie through a shit road in if im safe in the US ANNEXor still in Calexico well it may be a bit longed. Im takimg the WR, camping gear, camera gear and a trackinh telescope. Try some 3+ Hour time exposures.... all while bunking in a pristine 1940 ish fully restored Aerorstremm with A/C, grill., a full deck complete with plastic flamimgos (And indoor bike parking/cuefews) Dennis is stoked!!! this my be that special place (and ventrallt located at some rather xhallengimg courses. |
