Congrats on the bike dgray. My wr250f hasn't been ridden much this year, along with the other bikes, but that will change as the little one gets a bit older and I make more time. I wish I lived out west. No where good to really ride by me. I thinking it will be a matter of time before I break down and install a hitch for the wrx and get a cheap folding trailer to take the bike up north.

You and your rz thing/beast... And I can't even find the motivation to install that one wire on my bike and put it all back together. I'd love to go back to 40 hr weeks, I was so damn productive back then NYST at the end of this month? I am signed up ready to camp out

I am signed up ready to camp out My bike is in a neglected state at the moment, and my college apps are due on the 1st and 15th, so that's a negative. Riding up here in mass turned out to be more challenging than I expected. If it isn't raining, there's so much condensation in the morning it may as well have. It's really killed my motivation to commute on it, especially since there's little traffic so my truck does just fine.

The lack of traffic during my commute mostly. There's little to gain from taking the bike. The thought of an hour and a half ride home on the Parkway was pretty fucking inspirational. Worst case here... 25 minutes?

Replaced the OEM shock spring (9.5kg/mm) today with a Eibach 10.7kg/mm spring. Since i didn't wanted the baby blue Racetech spring color i researched a bit. Eibach actually produces the springs for Racetech, and the Eibach 0700.225.0600 seems to be the same spring Racetech uses for the FZ8, K7 GSXR 750 and i assume the most newer sportbikes. The K4/K5 GSXR 600/750 would need the 0800 (8inch spring). The first part 0700 is the length (7inches), the second part 225 is the inside diameter (2.25 inches), the last part 0600 the spring rate (600 lbs.in / 10.7kg/mm). Eibach has all the Racetech spring rates, and even harder once. The Eibach Spring is $66.50 at summitracing.com , the Racetech spring $119. Only thing needed form Racetech is the spacer or DIY one, for my GSXR 750 i needed the SPSC 57505512 (which is a 12mm spacer)

well it makes sense that eibach is cheaper. if they produce for racetech then that means racetech needs to up their prices so they can make money too

There is a guy on the flat track series who makes the famous hot shoes... steel left sole. Hw travels in a converted school bus to all the scheduled events.
