Booked a hotel in Knoxville for Thanksgiving weekend. If the weather holds up, I'll be making a dragon trip. Weather's gotta be real nice though.. 10 hrs from home to Knoxville would suck in the cold. Too late for Sprint Cars? |

That is one of the crazy thing about the US, each state can have a town of the same name as another state. Makes it kind of confusing. |

Had an offer made on the Beta today by the dealer, had a customer looking for exactly what I have done with mine.
Offer was not enough to tempt me. Little bit higher and I probably couldn't say no....

We were suppose to get dumped on with a foot of snow. I was bad this year and hadn't topped off the tanks, treated the fuel, changed the oil ect. So as the "blizzard" (we only got about 5 inches) started I finally got my shit put away.

Set a new personal best today, 19 degrees out on my 30 minute ride. Body was reasonably comfortable, hands were cold. Can't complain much though, theres only so much gloves can do without being heated.

Not really on topic here, but we never are.
Looks like my "get a job close to home" plan has been foiled. Our shop is being shut down and merged with another NJ shop that isn't performing well. They are stuck in their lease though, so we get to move. 10 mile round trip is becoming 110 miles. Guess I'll be rocking out to the tune of 600+ mile weeks soon enough. 50k mile r3 here I come.

finally starting to work on retrofitting those r6 pegs that i bought forever ago. today im adding a little extra material by welding it on so that they sit straight on the 8. then comes the shaping with a grinder and dry fitting. after that gonna get them powdercoated black (got a buddy should charge next to nothing to do it) and then comes the final install with the new pegs. the rubber is falling off of my stock pegs and im too cheap to buy rear sets lol. this should fix the problem. pics will be taken and posted when its complete

It's pretty complicated, since the plan according to them is to merge into that spot, and then move back up here once they can find a sublet for the lease. Conveniently enough, I've got an interview for a job in cranbury next week. It was something I was pursuing for shits and giggles but it may wind up being something I take. |
