I'll second a recommendation for the rs1. I've got 2 and my son I've has 1, one of the best values out there when it goes on sale.

Not really on topic here, but we never are. Looks like my "get a job close to home" plan has been foiled. Our shop is being shut down and merged with another NJ shop that isn't performing well. They are stuck in their lease though, so we get to move. 10 mile round trip is becoming 110 miles. Guess I'll be rocking out to the tune of 600+ mile weeks soon enough. 50k mile r3 here I come. iron butt eats this shot for breakfast

Not exactly today but all my shit turned up to fix it today!! Had a great day im trying to upload a video to you tube. Basically bike running great all day set a 1.12.xxx lap which was a 2 second improvement on previous best time before the low side. Low side caused by a crack in the asphalt i ran over a decent lean angle whilst getting on the power exiting a bend. All the mods i did to bike worked great. very hot day around 34 degree Celsius and 100% humidity however with going up two on the main jets and moving needle position it worked a treat and i beat my previous top speed showed in winter of 191kph with 197kph. very very happy. bike ran a nice constant temp all dsy.

Got the oil pan changed on my 8 last night! Fresh oil and she runs nice and smooth now. I'll probably do another oil change a bit sooner this time since I had to wait so long for this oil change.

It's funny how with rider experience you feel the little bits of difference like oil changes, a tweak of the suspention, colder ambient air temps (talking Qld here as always fuckin hot) etc

Oh absolutely! I knew right away my oil was starting to mess with stuff like shifting and performance when I got close to needing to change it.
It's funny, when it's "cold" in FL, my bike feels so much more powerful when I do a quick pull. I kinda thought that was only with carbureted bikes!

Update on this. Looks like I'm moving out of NJ. Took a floater to permanent position within the company in the Boston area instead of dealing with that commute. Waiting on a few details to get hammered out, but it's pretty much a done deal. I have to say I'm excited, but man is it going to be a headache figuring out everything for a move on such short notice.
