Couldn't get the tank cover to ever fit right, and didnt trust the dented to fuck one to survive another crash. I picked up an brand new OEM tank last weekend. Its finally starting to come together, while garage falls slowly apart and is a fucking mess.  Ran out of 1/4 rivets tonight which really pisses me off and puts me behind this week in what I want to get done. Started to mount the flushmount dzus fasteners   home depot or loews should carry aluminum rivets |

Picked up an aluminum race fairing and corrected the throttle cable position to over top of the master cylinder instead of under, action is much smoother and it doesnt pinch as much at full lock.   |

Picked up two sets of amour bodies fairings this morning fo $300. One needs some repair and one might need a repaint but is otherwise perfect. I will have to wait to put the front fender on until I get my forks back from the Ak-20 install.  |

Relocated the wiring on the throttle side to inside the frame as suggested by a racer, keeps things clean in the event of a crash. Still need to finish the clutch side, had to unpin the harness and more somethings around.  Relocated the rectifier  |

Flashflood warning. Too me t hours for what is a 20 drive. Did some self etchin primor on subie mirror caps earlier prior to the rain. Good luck. Take your time! Will be great. ill be out in july in your area for a gm meeting lets ride, ill need a bike. |

its been relatively nice since saturday. Sat and sun in jersey was around 65-70 and mon - tues was a little over 50. Tomorrow should be another beautiful day hitting around 70

its a rush now, finished up wiring, need to add a fuse, and get my forks and shock back from suspension guy, and install new steering stem bearings. I removed the power block and went cleaner with gold crimp connection. All wiring is now finished and finalized. wrapped in Kevlar lined aluminum wrap with self sealing membrane conductive tape. red wrap can withstand constant 650 degree temps and wrap can withstand 1200 degree temps. Rear shock is removed and I should have my suspension back this week just in time to drive to NJ and get a dyno tune and flash with quick shifter   |

There are some forks near me at $500 which is a great deal. I'm considering buying them as spares but just have the cash. RS 250 stuff never comes up especially on the door step I should but just cant yet. Will fucking hate myself when I crash and don't have a set and have to pay in excess of $1000 with delivery from Bulgaria or some shit. |
