Have to wait 3 months yet for that. I ordered a set of forks last night on a good deal as spares. There are some forks near me at $500 which is a great deal. I'm considering buying them as spares but just have the cash. RS 250 stuff never comes up especially on the door step I should but just cant yet. Will fucking hate myself when I crash and don't have a set and have to pay in excess of $1000 with delivery from Bulgaria or some shit. Yea r6 bend so easy so I want to be prepared and not be 1200 miles away and get screwed over for the weekend.

Bearings can be a bitch to seat.
Pop them into the freezer. Use a heat gun inside the steerer tube races. Should pop in. Then a deadblow mallet to tap all around till flush. Or 2 metal plates with a hole in each a long bolt and a nut on one side and tighten till seated evenly.
Have fun. DG

did you use pressure treated wood the first time around? I dont see why they would have warped but it may help if you get those

Yank the wood. Use marine grade 3/4" plywood with screws and get nuts and get aluminum diamond plate coaterd with clear resin and pure silica sand. No warpage, no oil collection and tons of grip. Will last a lifetime.

Pics will be required mate! Its been an eventful few last weeks travelling for work and coming home to find out my fiances work has shut down short notice but the bike is running, tuned and now I am just waiting on sprockets and chain to arrive so I can put the fairings on and call it good. Need to adjust handle bars yet and set the levers to wear I need but its 90% done. Pic was taken today while I drained out the engine ice, and heating up the distilled water to flush it all out and put water wetter in.

Sorry to hear about the abrupt closure. Fucking corporate America...consuming itself faster than it can create shell orporations to absorbe everything.
Bike is coming along nicely. Get her out on the track soon.
Best. DG

Nothing holding me back now. Fuck no crash videos!! There has not been a crash this calender year.... and i want to ve the first on the 22nd April. Im riding a bent frame gsxr 600 so will be aiming to unsettle the bike whilst braking which will wickedly effect my turn in... i will then snake into the corner, then hard onto gas into a high side which will break my teeth with the impact. Please dont be the first crash of the season

Thats not how this works. ... and technically I have the first crash of the season..albeit on the road... the 8 rides again this weekend. The RZ starts the final assembly now that all but countershaft sprocket and rear sprocket are here. Those bits have to wait until the engine is in the cradle so I can measure and get the correct primary offset (+5 - 8 mm) May meed to shave the rear sprocket carrier a bit as well. Got to be all lined up.
No crashing boys!

I set my goal to run through at least 1 fresh set of tires before tossing it again. DG
